I could possibly use the outline effect for photoshop if I was making an article of some type. It's a cool effect and can make words really pop out. If I was making an article that had to do with a group of people, that is when I would fill it with the people.

The bling effect could be used if making an advertisement for jewelry. It could be used to illustrate the idea that the jewelry is very shiny. Instead of using diamonds to fill the letters, you could use many different things like color, pictures, or other effects.
